Integrated circuits

An integrated circuit is a product equipped with a specific configuration and with interconnections, able to achieve an electronic function.
The configuration diagram, or topography of the integrated circuit, is the three-dimensional layout of the elements of the integrated circuit. This configuration diagram may be the subject of an industrial property title.
Thanks to the new Law 17/97 , you may obtain an ?integrated circuit configuration diagram certificate? by filing a request with OMPIC. Protection is granted for a 10-year period as from the date of filing.
